Introduction to regular geometric shapes:

Geometric shapes are obtained under geometry. Geometry is the base of the geometric figures. Geometric shapes resemble the principles of geometry. We have many different types of geometric shapes, mainly geometric shapes are from points, lines, curves and etc…. Let us we discuss about the regular geometric shapes which are in regular shape in geometry.

Regular Geometry Shapes:

In geometry we contains both regular and irregular shapes, regular shapes are those which are in rigid shape. Regular shapes are not changing their shapes in any situation unlike irregular shapes. Some of the regular shapes are mentioned below,

  • Square,
  • Rectangle,
  • Triangle and,
  • Circle

About Regular Shapes:

Square: square is one of the forms of regular shape in geometric shapes and it is four sided figure is shown below. Square is the one, which have all the four sides are equal distanced.

Rectangle: rectangle is from the geometric figure in which it is one of the regular shaped figure. Rectangle is slightly differing from the square in which having two dimensions as length and breadth. The shape of regular figure rectangle is,

Triangle: Triangle is one of the geometric shapes also taken as regular shapes. Normally triangle having three sides having breadth and height. In triangle we have three types of triangles. They are,

  • Equilateral triangle: is nothing but a triangle having all the three sides are equal. The angles of the triangle are also equal to 60degree.

  • Isosceles triangle: in this type of regular triangle shapes two sides are equal with angle too.

  • Scalene triangle: Here, the triangle not having any side as equal. And also not having equal angles.

Circle: Circle is a part of a regular shape. It is depends on the diameter, which is the twice of the radius. Circle is shown below for clear understanding.
