Meaning of Circle :
Circle is a two dimensional object and there is no edges in the circle. You can see the circle all our the place :For Example A ring is one of the best example of circle and wheels are circular too.
Area of the circle = π r2
Circumference of the circle =2πr
Meaning of Square :
- Square have four eequal sides and straight angles .
- This is another regular shape of polygon.Example of square is Chess board Boxes.it is the best example of square.
- Area of square =2a
- Perimeter of the square = 4a
Meaning of Rectangle:
- Rectangle is also said to be an oblong shape and it is one of the commonly seen shapes in daily life.
- it has fore sides, opposite sides are eequal in measure.
- Rectangle has four square corners, but 2 of the sides are longer than the other two sides.
- Special case of Rectangle:Square is a specific type of rectangle that has four equal sides.
Meaning of Rhombus:
- Diagonals of the rhombus is bisect each other.
- All sides of the rhombus is congruent.
- Best example of Rhombus is Diamond. if you squash a square , you still have four equal sides.
Meaning of Triangle:
it is one of the most famous and basic shape of geometry,Triangle is one of the the type of polygon with all three corners or vertices and edges are line segment.
Types of Triangles:
According to the relative lengths of their sides ,
1)Equilateral Triangle " style="border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; vertical-align: middle; "> Sides are equal in measure and it is also a regular polygon with all angles are 60°
2)Isosceles Triangle " style="border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; vertical-align: middle; ">Two sides are eequal in length and angles opposite to the two sides of the same measure.
3)Scalene Triangle " style="border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; vertical-align: middle; "> In case of scalene triangle all sides are unequal and all angles are different in measure.
And according to their internal angles ,
1)A right angle triangle " style="border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; vertical-align: middle; ">it is also said to be a rec tangled triangle and one of its interior angle is 90.°
2)Oblique triangle " style="border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; vertical-align: middle; ">It means the triangle that do not have an angle 90 °
3)Acute triangle " style="border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; vertical-align: middle; ">Triangle with less than 90° is called acute triangle.
4)Obtuse triangle " style="border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; vertical-align: middle; "> Triangle with more than 90° is called Obtuse triangle.
