Geometric Shape Volume

Sphere:

Volume of the sphere = 4/3 pi * r 3


Cube:

Cube

That is V= a x a x a

V = a3 cubic units

Where V is the volume of the cube and a is the side (or edge) of the cube.

The above diagram shows the shape of cube.


Cuboid:

Cuboid

The volume of the cuboid = length x width x height cubic unit.

The volume of the cuboid=l x w x h.

Cone:

The volume of the cone =1/3 * pi * r2 * h

Cylinder:

Cylinder

The volume of the cylinder = pi * r2 * h cubic unit
